Everyone is buzzing about Web 2.0 in the last 6 months. It is interesting to see this type of change occur in our changing economy. There is a wide range of change taking place in the way we experience new products, goods and brands. Thanks to Web 2.0 we can have other people serve as experts in their field and interact with us. This changes the way we view the world we all live in. It definitely changes the way we experience products and make decisions about buying services.
I have to hand it to the street fighting tactics of Yamaha ATV dealers. These guys have shown true grit in the age of the Internet. A lot of people don’t know this but ATV and motorsports are actually very aggressive markets. There are a lot of competitors out there who are trying to get to the top of the search engine heap. The competition is so fierce in fact that in a typical market there can be as much as 15,000,000 competitive pages all vying for the top spots. This means that a lot of Yamaha ATV parts dealers are doing everything possible to get to the top positions. Sometimes they pay for it. Sometimes they create viral web videos and sometimes they do a lot of praying.
I caught an interesting thing online recently. Many web merchants are not going to take the traditional routes to advertise in 2010. According to a recent questionnaire by a Metro Detroit entertainment group, Hot Metro Finds, many merchants have turned their back against standard advertising methods. This includes a whole variety of methods such as Yellow Pages, billboards, television and radio. Add to that list pay per click advertising fees. S.E. Michigan merchants have not expressed an interest in this type of advertising. Some place that viewpoint on the economy. Others have a different take on it. They say that it is just not effective.
All terrain vehicles are exactly what they are. They are for all seasons. People run these all throughout the year in Michigan and that is somewhat normal. I am especially seriously concerned with how some of these vehicles are used. The town I live in likes to flirt with danger. We have one lake in the middle of town that is the hub of all activity. In the summer time you will be hard pressed to find any cops on the street. Most of them are patrolling this little lake. Seriously, most of the cities crimes are performed in and around it.
