Quad bike riding has typically been done off road, offering the rider an exciting and thrilling experience which can be compared to motocross riding. The all terrain vehicles that are on the road, paths, hills, and trails today are also called 4-wheelers, quads, ATV’s, or sometimes quad bikes. The feature 4 wheels that sport low pressure tires, use a bar rather than a wheel for steering purposes, and are typically straddled by the rider on a saddle-type seat, much as one would straddle a motorcycle.
